It's Legit...

As of April 6, 2011, I am officially an employee for Princess Cruise Lines. After countless phone interviews, email conversations, and paper trails, it looks like I'm going to Alaska! Oh what an adventure this will be...

As a tour director, I will be serving Princess Cruise Line guests exclusively, acting as a traveling concierge for groups of up to 52 people. I will be responsible for taking care of every detail of the guests trip while ensuring a five star experience along the way. Above you can see some of the routes that Princess offers and the cities that I will be traveling through on a weekly basis.

My fist thing to do was find housing and I did just that! Thankfully, my friends Kristin and Chris are also working the summer in Alaska and it looks like we have found a place to live! It's a modest one bedroom place in a high rise in Downtown Anchorage just minutes away from the train station where most of my tours start! Considering the three of us will hardly be there...it is simply a place to lay our heads and call home.

The views from our place are spectacular with the mountains rising rapidly from the sea. Who knows what the inside of the place looks like but I guess that is part of the fun! Anchorage is larger than I had imagined and I cannot wait to explore it once I'm there.

Princess should be booking my airfare this week sometime which will give me the exact date that I am saying goodbye to Florida and hello to Alaska! (should be mid may) I am excited for this opportunity and know it will be one to stay with me for a lifetime! Live, laugh, love has always been my motto and this experience is no exception. Here goes nothing...
